I am on the brink of
incorporating technology that will revolutionize my program. Heart Zones has
created an armband that can display the heart rate of my students on the wall
of the gym in real time. The system caters to each student; it saves a resting
heart rate and max heart rate for each student. This allows me to see which
students are giving their best effort. It will level the playing field of my
class, the ‘un-athletic’ students can earn A’s by working hard, and the ‘Athletes’
won’t be able to breeze through PE for an A without trying hard.
